But we can do our part in this through getting in God’s Word, honestly coming before Him in prayer and worship, and surrounding ourselves with other believers who encourage us. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Philippians 4:8 says, “And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Along with this encouragement, God’s Word gives some practical helps to us too. Thankfully, our wonderful God can bring healing to our physical bodies and to our minds as well. While we typically feel pretty in control of our actions, often, our thought life feels so far out of our control.
